Posting from Norway, I have thought about it maybe even being a localy made one, but really not much to go by, the guides are of "swiss" make, I was thinking Italy as the motor is a italian make, but I think it's not original motor as this saw was used in a school in it earlier life, hench the motor got a built in brake, and the base seem to have been somewhat modified to make room for the motor with brake.
the only "branding" I can see on it is that brass mark you can kinda see on one of the images, which says "Figo 520"
Other markings I find on it is that the pulleys in the back is marked "Meehanite", but as far as I found out this is some kind of rating of quality of cast iron ?.
