Lederhobel
che dice (tradotto dal tedesco):
Heavy plane made entirely of iron except for the screwed-on wooden handle. The angle of attack of the very flat, wide plane iron can be adjusted with a knurled screw made of brass and a cam. A second knurled screw, which sits in the iron plane wedge, secures the attachment of the plane iron against slipping. There is a raised embossing with the number 11 on the front narrow side. The iron parts on the planer case are painted black.
The leather plane was used for the so-called sharpening of the leather, i.e. thinning the edges to a certain thickness.
The plane comes from the workshop of master saddler Hermann Scharnberg from Dwerkathen (Lütjensee).
Angolo seduta 20°, angolo bisello ferro 20°.
